Mr. Adams is a graduate of the Birmingham school system. He attended the University of Alabama where he participated on the swim team. He graduated with his Bachelors Degree in 1973. Mr. Adams then went on to attend Cumberland Law School where is earned his juris doctorate in 1976. His current law practice includes civil litigation and real estate. 

Mr. Adams currently is a member of Church of the Highlands, where he has served as Co-leader in the Prison Ministry. It was through his work as the co-leader in the Prison ministry that he founded Boys to Men to Fishers of Men, Inc. in 2017.

Mr. Adams has been a fresh and salt water fishing enthusiast since he was old enough to hold a cane pole.  He is married to Debbie and father of six children, Alicia, April, Alexis, Brandie, Oscar, IV, and Cherie.  He has three grandsons and four sons-in-law.
